Plant Native Habitat
We believe in more than just planting pretty landscapes. We believe in planting native wildlife habitat that contributes to and supports biodiversity.

North Georgia Native Plant Nursery, LLC is located in Canton, GA.  Our plants are grown from our own collected or nursery grown seed, division, or through other propagation methods.  Plants are never collected from the wild. Due to the seasonality of our work, we do not stock everything year round like larger re-wholesalers. The bulk of our ephemerals are sold in the spring, pollinator plants in the summer, and trees in the fall. Please email northganatives@gmail.com or see the AVAILABILITY page for current availability.

We use sustainable methods to grow our plants and support other growers who do the same. We believe native plants grown without synthetic chemicals are better for the environment and are superior in their ability to contribute to the native insects and pollinators you are looking to support and protect. Plants that are native have co-evolved over thousands of years with native insects and are uniquely able to sustain life by playing a part in the delicate ecology of our local environment.  Native plants provide food to native insects, invertebrate, birds, and mammals. Everything is connected and all life depends on plants.

We are excited to be a part of the growing native plant movement and want to help others learn about and understand the necessity of planting natives. We are active in our community and love speaking with local garden clubs, neighborhoods, and schools. Feel free to contact us with ideas, thoughts, or questions on our "Get in Touch" page.
